Leading University (LU) organized a seminar on Writing & Publishing Scientific Paper on 18 February 2016 at the university Hall Room. Honorable Vice Chancellor (Designated) Professor Dr. Md. Kabir Hossain was present in the program as Chief Guest. The program was presided over by Professor Dr. Tofayel Ahmed, Dean, Faculty of Business Administration and Head, Department of Business Administration. Professor Md. Abul Kalam Chowdhury of the Department of Business Administration delivered the inaugural speech. The workshop was anchored by Md. Jahangir Alam, Asst. Professor, Department of Business Administration.
The Resource Persons present in the seminar was Professor Dr. Md. Azizul Batn, Department of Statistics, Shahjalal University of Science and Technology, Sylhet. He mainly focused on how to write a paper /article scientifically and how important the collaboration in preparing articles for the referred journals.
The subject matter of the seminar was ensuring effective teaching, students’ evaluation and development focusing on the different aspect of resource, development and planning. The discussants gave special emphasis on teaching, learning and doing research as key factors to enhance the teachers’ quality to provide more participatory and effective education to the students. The focal point of the workshop was to exchange views on preparing the students skilled and competent enough to cope with the development around the world in the field of education, science and technology through providing informative and practical quality education. The resource persons in the workshop, however, shared their views in the context of modern education system. In a cross discussion the speakers expressed their valuable opinions regarding research method, time management in quality education, evaluation, performance appraisal and students teachers relations under the institutional environment.
