Leading University (LU) Family celebrates Pahela Baishakh, first day of the Bangla calendar, with fanfare and festivity. The Cultural Club of Leading University organized a huge festive rally started from the Madhuban Building and moved towards the main roads of the city area. Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Md. Qumruzzaman Chwowdhury led the rally. LU Registrar Lieutenant Colonel Munir Ahmed Qadery (Retired), Controller of Examinations (Acting) Eng. Md. Lutfor Rahaman, Proctor Professor Dr. Bashir Ahmed Bhuiyan, Head of the Departments, Faculty Members, Officers, Club Members, Students and Staff participated in the rally. After the rally ended at Modhuban Building, Cultural Club of Leading University organized a cultural program at the Madhuban Building Auditorium. Advisor of Cultural Club Mr. Md. Abdullah Al-Mamun and Mr. Mahbub Alam welcomed the guests to the day-long cultural program. LU Vice Chancellor, Registrar, and Proctor wish all the teachers, officers and students Shubho Naboborsho 1423, and enjoyed the program. Cultural function included discussion on Pahela Baishakh, dance sequences and staging of plays and many colorful performances. Different stalls for Baishakhi Mela were also a significant part of the celebration of the program.
