A two day long fair organized by Sylhet DC office under the a2i project (Access to Information, Prime Minister’s Office) was held from 19 & 20 January 2017 at Mohammad Ali Gymnasium. Total of 25 teams form all public and private universities of Sylhet attended a program called “Solve A Thon”. Two teams from CSE & EEE department also attended the program. The CSE team with Md. Ruhel Khan & Md. Mahbubur Rahman Rajon become the champion among all these teams. Their project was “Detecting Fake Driving Licence”. A team from CSE department, SUST become runner up & a team from Sylhet Polytechnic Instituteare become third in that competition. Honorable Vice Chancellor of Leading University Prof. Dr. Md. Qumruzzaman Chowdhury congratulates the winning team and encourage them to bring success for the department & University as well. Mr. Jamal Uddin Ahmed, DC, Sylhet, handed over champions trophy to the winning team in a colorful prize giving ceremony on 20 January, 2017.
