Educational Background:
PhD in Environmental Engineering , University of Southern Queensland, Australia.
M.Sc & B.Sc Engg in Civil & Environmental Engineering, Shahjalal University of Science and Technology, Sylhet.

I am Syeda Zehan Farzana currently working as an Associate Professor in Department of Civil Engineering, Leading University, Sylhet. I was appointed as a Lecturer in 2011 and promoted to Assistant Professor in 2015 and Associate Professor in 2021. I have about fourteen years of research experience in water quality analysis, prediction and analysis of climate change impact and published 25 technical papers in international journal and conferences.

Area of Study

Exploring and analyzing problems related to probabilistic modelling, complex environmental and climate systems.

Developing innovative approaches to understand and predict interactions within the climate system and the environment.

Investigating strategies for incorporating sustainability principles into environmental management, water resource planning, climate resilience, and policy-driven decision-making.
