Area of Study
Md Maraz Miah is an academic and legal practitioner. He currently serves as a Lecturer in the Department of Law at Leading University, Sylhet, where he also holds administrative responsibilities as well. Beyond academia, he is a practicing Advocate enrolled with the Dhaka Bar Association.
​Mr. Maraz earned both his Bachelor of Laws (LL.B. Hons.) and Master of Laws (LL.M.) in International Law from the University of Dhaka. His academic journey is marked by a deep commitment to legal research, evidenced by his published work and his postgraduate thesis, which critically assessed the legal frameworks for protecting socio-economic rights during armed conflicts.

​Mr. Maraz is actively involved in clinical legal education, having served as a Judge for the 1st Intra-Department Moot Court Competition (2025) at Leading University. He is also a dedicated leader in student welfare, previously serving as the Joint Secretary of the Dhakasto Sakhipur Thana Student Association.
