Area of Study
Md Maraz Miah is an academic and legal practitioner. He currently serves as a Lecturer in the Department of Law at Leading University, Sylhet, where he also holds administrative responsibilities as well. Beyond academia, he is a practicing Advocate enrolled with the Dhaka Bar Association.
Mr. Maraz earned both his Bachelor of Laws (LL.B. Hons.) and Master of Laws (LL.M.) in International Law from the University of Dhaka. His academic journey is marked by a deep commitment to legal research, evidenced by his published work and his postgraduate thesis, which critically assessed the legal frameworks for protecting socio-economic rights during armed conflicts.

He is also a dedicated leader in student welfare, previously serving as the Joint Secretary of the Dhakasto Sakhipur Thana Student Association.
