Md. Mamunor Rashid is a Lecturer in the Department of Islamic Studies at Leading University, Sylhet, Bangladesh. He joined the university on *15 February 2022* and has been actively engaged in teaching, research, curriculum development, and student mentoring. He is currently pursuing a *Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.)* as a Research Fellow in *Islamic Banking and Finance* at the *International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM)*.

He completed both his Bachelor of Arts (Honours) and Master of Arts in Islamic Studies from the University of Dhaka, achieving outstanding academic performance with a CGPA of 3.83/4.00 and 3.96/4.00, respectively. In recognition of his academic excellence, he received the *Dean's Award*, Faculty Scholarships, and was nominated by the University Grants Commission (UGC), Bangladesh, for the Commonwealth Scholarship (UK) viva.
He also worked as a former Lead Trainer under the Skills for Employment Investment Program (SEIP), implemented by Bangladesh Bank and funded by the Asian Development Bank (ADB), delivering entrepreneurship development training.

His academic and research activities focus on Islamic Banking and Finance, Islamic Economics, Entrepreneurship, Shariah Governance, Islamic Commercial Law, Sustainable Economic Development, Comparative Religion, Human Rights in Islam, and Contemporary Islamic Issues. He is committed to promoting quality higher education through innovative teaching, research, and community engagement.
